About Isabel

I make websites feel clear before I make them feel clever.

I am Isabel Contreras, a Vancouver-based web and graphic designer. I work directly with small business owners who need thoughtful design, practical guidance and a website they can understand after it launches.

My approach

Good design should help you make decisions.

My background in graphic design shapes the way I build websites. I pay close attention to hierarchy, typography, colour, images and the small details that make a business feel consistent.

I also care about what happens behind the visuals. I plan content, organize pages, consider responsive behaviour, prepare images, build SEO foundations and test the experience before launch. You work with me directly from the first request to the final handoff.

I have planned and maintained a service website with more than 25 pages, created a role-based operations portal, prepared marketing landing pages, corrected photography for digital use and produced print-ready layouts.

Mission

Make professional design more approachable.

I want small businesses to have access to careful websites, social content and print materials without an agency-sized process.

Vision

Build work that keeps being useful.

Good design should support the business today, remain manageable tomorrow and have room to grow when the business is ready.

Values

Transparent and fair for both sides.

I show starting prices, quantities, revisions and responsibilities clearly. The goal is a fair scope where the client knows what they receive and the work has enough time to be done properly.
